From Atlanta, Georgia

Take I-75 N (I-85 N, GA-401 N, GA-403 N, North Expwy)
Bear right onto off-ramp at exit 290 to GA-20 W
Take GA-20 W Ramp
Turn left onto GA-20 W
Bear right on ramp to US-41 N (US-411 S, GA-3 N, GA-20 W)
Continue onto US-41 N (US-411 S, GA-3 N, GA-20 W)
Bear right on ramp to US-411 S (GA-20 W)
Continue onto US-411 S (GA-20 W)
Bear right on ramp to US-27 N (GA-1 N, GA-20 W, GA-53 N)
Continue onto US-27 N (GA-1 N, GA-20 W, GA-53 N)
Continue onto US-27 (GA-1, GA-20, Turner McCall Blvd NE)
Turn left onto 1st St
Turn right onto Riverside Pkwy NE

The library will be on your left after you pass the fire station.



From Chattanooga, Tennessee

Take I-75 South to Exit 312 at Calhoun, GA. Follow US Hwy 53 West (Four Lane) into Rome (approximately 20 miles). When you come to the intersection of Broad Street, turn right.

You will pass 2 traffic lights. The next road to your right will be Riverside Parkway. Turn right on Riverside Parkway.

After passing the Fire Station, you will see the entrance to the library on your left. The library sits on the riverbank above the parking lot.



Walking Directions

The Rome Transit Department stops in front of the library at 20 past the hour and 20 before the hour, Monday thru Friday, until 6:00 p.m.

From the bus stop, walk forward 50 feet. Go through two sets of automatic doors and turn left. (If you need a wheelchair or walker with book cart, ask for assistance at the front desk.)

Walk 15 feet to the elevator. After exiting the elevator on the second floor, turn left.

Walk 15 feet down a hallway until you pass through a door with our sign on the door. Continue down a hallway until you find a people guidance system (bright blue) on your left hand side.

Follow the ribbon to the end and take a right. You will notice the change from carpet to a rubber floor mat. You are now in our library stacks. Walk 30 feet to our door. Once inside a buzzer will let us know you're here.
